FASHION WEEK, ALL EYES ON NEW TALENT AT THE FASHION HUB MARKET

It’s an event not to be missing during Milan fashion week, which has just begun, to discover new talents in fashion design. We are talking about the Fashion hub market, a project of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion (CNMI) already in its third edition. There will be 14 Italian and foreign brands presented for the first time in occasion for Milano Moda Donna collections of ready-to-wear and accessories. The event is held in Piazza Gae Aulenti, where a showroom has been set up in order to give ample visibility to young designers, including networking and business.

Head Hunters

They are young, creative, innovative. Soon we will hear about them and maybe we will be able to buy their collections in our city stores, next to the more famous brands. Those making their debut at this year's fashion hub will be Davide Grillo brands, Guen, Ilenia Corti vernissage, Irma Cipolletta, Marco Laganà, Meena, Nabil Nayal, Percy Lau, Shushu/Tong, Tommy Zhong, Urania Gazelli, Violante Nessi, Xu Zhi, Visone. It is said: "All good fashion should tell a story. Stories of love, joy, travel, experiences, etc. Taste is something very relative, perhaps too much. Emotion is not. It is not enough to create something beautiful, you have to excite. This is the difference that makes the difference".

Tortona fashion district, record edition

500 Italian and foreign exhibitors, festivals and awards. It is the edition of records at Milan fashion week for the event "White women's collections + accessories", sponsored by the City of Milan, which will animate the Tortona fashion district, launching new trends and emerging brands. There will be five new research sections, with as many as 200 new entries that confirm the continuous action of scouting in order to offer buyers more and updated proposals on new trends. Here, too, eyes fixed on the young designers, thanks to the second edition of “It's time to south”, there is a contest that aims to enhance and promote new generations of designers from Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily. "In Milan, the competition is tough, there are advanced designer labels- words of the president of the National Chamber of Fashion-this is meritocratic work. And if you make it here, it means that you are really good".

Shopping under the stars with Vogue Fashion's Night Out

At the opening of the Milan fashion shows, the Vogue Fashion's Night Out will propose, in the Fashion District, appointments and leaders in a limited edition. At Palazzo Morando two new fashion brands of the Made in Italy, Alcoolique and Quattromani will be presented, selected by QVC multimedia retailers. Fashion and music go hand in hand; among the artists performing are the singer Chiara Grispo and DJ Frost Knauss. Throughout the evening, many stores will be selling garments and accessories made exclusively for VFNO, like t-shirts and bracelets with the event logo. The proceeds of this eighth edition will be donated to areas where the earthquake occurred in central Italy.
