Bietigheim is a small restaurant-rotisserie in Altamura that takes its name from a small town located in south-west Germany, north of the Black Forest nature park.
The Black Forest landscape is characterised by vast green expanses with lakes, hills, pastures and water sources, covered entirely by tall fir trees with thick foliage.
The owner of the business, Giovanni, after spending eight years in the German town, decided to open his own restaurant when he returned, giving it the name of the place that had hosted him.
Karman for Bietigheim: Via Rizzo 7 illuminates the Altamura restaurant
The restaurant welcomes diners with dishes and recipes from the Italian and Bavarian tradition, to be savoured in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, furnished with taste and sobriety.
The natural wood separates break the chromatic continuity of the white walls, giving almost the same optical effect as the natural and pure light that filters through the trees of the Black Forest.
Via Rizzo 7
An elegant Karman lamp was chosen to illuminate the Altamura restaurant in Bietigheim: Via Rizzo 7.
This is a suspension lamp, designed by designer Matteo Ugolini, with a white ceramic structure and rounded shape.
We find Pepo and Maio, two curious birds made of opaque white ceramic, perched on the lamps, as well as special design accessories that playfully recall the small fauna of the woods.
Via Rizzo 7 illuminates the kitchen area and a long table in the centre of the room, ensuring directional and uniform light, ideal for conferring excellent levels of ambient lighting and task lighting.
