With these novelties, Karman **winks at minimalism, conferring the right mix of elegance, modernity, and craftsmanship.** This is how the lamps of the new collection were born, demonstrating that research and development, combined with the **wise choice of materials**, are key elements that make Karman **the right choice to illuminate any environment.** ## The new 2021 collection by Karman Discover, in detail, **the news of the Karman 2021 collection**, divided by category: - [**The Karman 2021 suspension lamps**](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/en/light-revolution-karman-2021-collection#suspension) - [**The Karman 2021 floor lamps**](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/en/light-revolution-karman-2021-collection#floor) - [**The Karman 2021 wall lamps**](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/en/light-revolution-karman-2021-collection#wall) ## Karman 2021 suspension lamps Let's start with the description of [the new Karman 2021 collection](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/collezione-2021/), beginning with the [**suspension lamps**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/categoria-prodotto/sospensione/), their materials, and their technical characteristics.   #### *Would you like to see the complete collection updated to 2022? Download the catalogue below!* *[![CTA 2022 catalogue](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/3920789/interactive-166319520627.png)](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs/cta/wi/redirect?encryptedPayload=AVxigLLEXHCtydj6uC1RZZgAfHADmnvjgL%2B6Rdya6oG9CbRs4XSrAWwr%2F6ULIgIWIkTIVsvkgWWKbFzbnAWOLrg9exgenmXIysVo5hix3IpeWSSoFmfN5WNkgyT6wmSQ%2BHzY4P926MG7%2FsZEXXjHtPAZRufxexAF75B4VxsdITko9Ipi%2Bj6BHBY8REGW4G5mnchZ%2F7SmLiPAUVSE&webInteractiveContentId=166319520627&portalId=3920789)* ### Circus A suspension lamp with an innovative design, [**Circus**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/circus/) is conceived as **a line of three blown glass suspensions** that form fascinating light effects thanks to **the white filigree in fabric style.** The element that **gives your project greater quality** is the artisan technique used for this lamp’s production. It is **an ancient technique that dates back to the 16th century**: this technique requires that the milky white glass strips are wrapped and stretched onto the surface of the molten glass before blowing it. The solution’s name derives precisely from the effect of this technique since a contrasting pattern is created, giving the collection **soft, symmetrical effects**, reminiscent, precisely, of circus tents. Being handcrafted, **each of these pieces is unique**, and the three models offered in different sizes **allow you to combine them as you wish** so that you can create compositions for your clients.   ![karman-circus](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-circus.jpg?width=960&name=karman-circus.jpg) *Circus* ### Filomena The basic element of this installation is **a simple cone in black aluminum**, which gives [**Filomena**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/filomena/) **a very elegant but at the same time sharp and contemporary design.** This small black aluminum cone then branches out onto the ceilings or walls, allowing you to **suspend them at different heights** by means of a long thin cable to balance them out in a sophisticated way. In addition, **you can also house two cone-shaped lighting fixtures** with diffused light on the cable: one of them is smaller and directs the beam downwards; the other one is larger and directs the light upwards. To give a touch of creativity to your project, **you can space these two different cones out as you like** **and hook them to the ceiling or wall** with the special black aluminum deviators. As for **the power supply**, you can **place it on the floor, or it can be recessed into the wall**. Another valid solution may be to **hide it with a white plaster ceiling rose**, perhaps with a floral motif in relief. Or you can choose the smooth version. It all depends on your client's tastes and the lamp’s environment.   ![karman-filomena](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-filomena.jpg?width=960&name=karman-filomena.jpg) *Filomena* ### Moonbloom This exquisite suspension lamp is **ideal for environments such as bedrooms and living rooms.** [**Moonbloom**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/moonbloom/) is a 75 cm **white plaster ceiling rose**, from which a cable hangs with a LED **cone lighting fixture in matte black aluminum** at the end, 7 cm high and with a diameter of 8 cm. Because the ceiling rose is white, you have **the freedom to install it in any environment and match it with the most suitable color for your project**. There are **two models**: one with **a single cone** and one with **a double cone**. In the second solution, in addition to the structure, there is **another cone of light**  along the pendant cable**, this time inverted**, 10 cm high and with a diameter of 11 cm, which points the light upwards. This double solution allows you to **arrange different installations,** giving **movement to the rooms** by alternating between the two versions.   ![karman-moonbloom](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-moonbloom.jpg?width=960&name=karman-moonbloom.jpg) *Moonbloom* ### Sibilla [**Sibilla**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/sibilla/) is a suspension lamp that **diffuses light in all directions** and is able to change according to the angle from which it is viewed. Taking a cue from the Dutch myth of the Sibyls, the suspension structure diffuses light in all directions and has a creative geometry, given by the **combination of vertical and horizontal crossed arms**, at the end of which you will find the light source placed inside a shell. The original features of this proposal make it perfect for lighting design projects that **give linear style to the environments**: you can install several in different environments, playing with its structure to define and differentiate them. For this purpose, Sibilla by Karman is available in **three different sizes and in two variants of white or black.**   **![karman-sibilla](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-sibilla.jpg?width=960&name=karman-sibilla.jpg)** *Sibilla* ### Stant The name of this series of ceiling lights and suspensions is loosely inspired by the participle of the Italian verb “Stare” (“to be”): “Stante”. [**Stant**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/stant/)'s structure is composed of **straight lines and circumferences** to create a design that **recalls the engineering structures of the early 1900s**. All its components are visible, assembled with **visible pins** in which you can insert, with expressive freedom, **additional elements** such as cylindrical spotlights or satin-blown glass spheres of different diameters. The configuration of Stant by Karman allows you **a certain freedom of design** in which **you can create real microarchitectures of light**, adding elements that do not need additional power cables.   ![karman-stant](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-stant.jpg?width=960&name=karman-stant.jpg) *Stant* ### Stralunata An **elegant and modern** suspension lamp, [**Stralunata**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/stralunata/) is composed of **a flat white aluminum disc** designed to fully reflect the light coming from an **inverted black aluminum cone.** Its design is conceived as **an acrobatic system of weights and counterweights** between geometric bodies, creating a suspension with a truly minimal aesthetic. Stralunata offers **an elegant, soft light** that provides spaces with a more intimate atmosphere.   ![karman-stralunata](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-stralunata.jpg?width=960&height=640&name=karman-stralunata.jpg) *Stralunata* ## The Karman 2021 floor lamps The two types of [**floor lamps**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/categoria-prodotto/piantana/) in the new collection have very particular designs that will give uniqueness to every lighting project. ### Fireman [**Fireman**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/fireman/), created by Marc Sadler, a brilliant yet eclectic designer, is a **floor lamp** created as a clear **tribute to the mythical telescopic aerial ladder of firefighters.** In fact, it is reminiscent of the historic and beloved New York fire escape system that we also see in TV series. It consists of **a triangular stabilizing base** in black painted iron **to which the extensible rod of the floor lamp is anchored.** The latter is equipped with **two LED lighting fixtures**, adjustable and of different diameters, whose intensity you can **adjust separately** using the Karman app. In addition to its shape, the peculiarity of this new floor lamp lies in the **adjustable pin,** which, being movable and retractable, allows the lamp to rise to extend higher and higher. These features allow it to **reach a height of 3 meters and 20**, ideal for environments with high ceilings.   ![karman-fireman](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-fireman.jpg?width=960&name=karman-fireman.jpg) *Fireman* ### Xana The name Xana is inspired by a **creature of extraordinary beauty that in Asturian folklore** is believed to live in fountains, rivers, waterfalls, or wooded regions with pure water, on whose surface they are mirrored to comb their long hair. The [**Xana floor lamp by Karman**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/xana/) is **perfect for outdoor environments but can also be used as a light spot inside a room:** its disc hides the LED light source in the lower part, and the structure includes **an adjustable spike at different heights.** Its features make it the ideal lamp for projects in which you need to **illuminate outdoor paths**, but you can also insert it as a functional outdoor piece of furniture. You can, for example, decide to arrange Xana so that it is **planted like a flower** to shed light among the vegetation of your terrace or garden.   ![karman-xana](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-xana.jpg?width=960&name=karman-xana.jpg) *Xana* ## The Karman 2021 wall lamps Finally, the new Karman collection includes two [**wall lamps**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/categoria-prodotto/applique/) with elegant and original designs that are also minimal and basic. ### Corrado [**Corrado**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/corrado/) is Matteo Ugolini's homage to **bullfighting**, a highly symbolic ancient art. It comes in **two color variants**, black and white, with the addition of the black velvet effect finish if you want to give more visual charm to your space. The bull's head **symbolizes both fury and manly strength**, complete with luminous horns and a nose ring. With this new lamp, **the Karman Zoo** then expands, including: - [**Ugo-Rilla**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/prodotto/ugo-rilla/ugo-rilla-ap152-gr-int/) (Gorilla) - [**Amsterdam**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/prodotto/amsterdam/amsterdam-ap191-ba-int/) (Bulldog) - [**Aprile**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/prodotto/aprile/aprile-ap132-1b-int/) (Fish) - [**Cubano**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/prodotto/cubano/cubano-ap142-1b-int/) (Toucan) - [**Marnin**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/prodotto/marnin/marnin-ap645m/) (Deer) - [**Ti.Vedo**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/prodotto/ti-vedo/ti-vedo-ct105-1b-int/) (Owl) You can integrate Corrado into your projects to **make rooms more modern and eclectic.** For example, you can envision it **in an open space** of a hotel as a connecting element between one room and another, or use it to illuminate and decorate **the entrance to a home** with style.   ![karman-corrado](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-corrado.jpg?width=960&name=karman-corrado.jpg) *Corrado* ### Movida It is a spotlight and an adjustable disc that create special light and shadow effects. This fantastic duo creates [**Movida**](https://www.karmanitalia.it/en/collezioni/movida/): **a cylindrical spotlight in white or black aluminum** capable of creating imaginative light effects on the wall. The adjustable disc inside **constitutes a double light source**, one lower and one upper, whose light bounces off one or more adjustable deflector discs in white aluminum. However, the cylindrical spotlight performs its full function even on its own, and both are ideal for **indoor and outdoor lighting projects.**   ![karman-movida](https://storybox.karmanitalia.it/hs-fs/hubfs/karman-movida.jpg?width=960&name=karman-movida.jpg) *Movida* ## Free your imagination with Karman Thanks to its sophisticated and unusual design, the new Karman collection has become a source of inspiration to create a setting of great aesthetic potential for your project.
