THE KARMAN BLACK OUT LAMP ILLUMINATES MYKONOS

A romantic creation, composed of a structure of transparent fiberglass filament, for lighting effects able to surprise and thrill. We are talking about the Black Out lamp designed by Matteo Ugolini which has now set foot in Greece, the enchanted island of Mykonos, thanks to the construction of the luxury boutique hotel Livin Mykonos.

The elegant hotel, recently inaugurated, has chosen Black Out to best accommodate customers with the soft lighting of candles. Especially at dusk, the lighting effects of the bright flames delight and warm, joining tradition and innovation and amplifying the magic of the Greek island, the most popular and frequented of the Cyclades. It will be all too easy to abandon the senses in the beauty of summer evenings, under a starry sky made extraordinarily clear by the placid wind. In the history of Ancient Greece, Mykonos appears only marginally because it was obscured by the sacred Delos Island, a nearby island reachable by boat.

It only started shining through in the mid-50s, as a privileged destination for hippies and then for protagonists of the international jet set, which gave new impetus to the local economy. Among the regulars were Aristotle Onassis, Jackie Kennedy and Jean Paul Sartre. Today Mykonos welcomes more than one million people per year and is undoubtedly one of the most famous and appreciated resorts in the world, thanks to the beauty of the beaches and vibrant nightlife.

The Livin Mykonos is characterized by contemporary design and a strong focus and attention to detail. It is located in a strategic location, from which one can travel to the most beautiful beaches such as the white sandy Psarou beach, but one can also visit sites of artistic and cultural interest such as Piazza Fabrica, the windmills of Mykonos, Aegean Maritime Museum, and the archaeological museum. Also worth seeing is the “Folklore Museum" which houses the local art and crafts exhibitions, the symbol of independence and the island sophistication. Refinement is exuded in every corner of Livin Mykonos, decorated in soft shades of white and beige, with references to the land and decorations made with elements of the site. And thanks to the new and unusual atmospheres by Karman creations, light will shine again to create an unforgettable travel experience.
